Carnegie Learning/Mobile Exploration

Overview

LiveHint was born as a companion to the Carnegie Learning print curriculum, extending the power of the digital AI tutor to students through readily available technology like smartphones. In an ambitious project to present complex mathematics in a mobile format, we deliberately diverged from a rigid process, opting for an adaptable design-forward approach.

Various iterations of how to bridge the digital and print applications of the developed tools were explored.

Early versions of the mobile companion product saw ways to scan the print curriculum and open the mobile application to additional help, tools, and solvers for the specific units.
